Privacy Policy
Last updated April 20, 2026.
Your business data is your business. We run the platform; you run the ledger. This Privacy Policy describes what data we collect when you use the hosted tier of Aether Finance, how we process it, and the rights you have over it.
We collect the minimum data required to operate the service: account information (name, email, organisation), technical telemetry (request logs, error traces), and — for the Growth and Enterprise tiers — the business data you explicitly upload or enter. We do not collect browsing history, behavioural profiles, or anything else you did not explicitly provide.
Processing happens in the region you select at onboarding. Pakistani tenants are processed in our Islamabad region; GCC tenants in Dubai; EU tenants in Frankfurt or Brussels. We do not transfer personal data outside the selected region except for billing (which uses an independent processor) and for legally required disclosures.
You have the right to access, correct, export, and erase your data. For the Community (self-hosted) tier, this is entirely under your control. For hosted tiers, use the request tools under Settings → Privacy, or email privacy@aether.finance. We respond within 30 days.
Accounting data retention is a legal obligation in every jurisdiction we operate in, typically six years from the end of the financial year. Erasure requests on posted ledger data are honoured through pseudonymisation: personal identifiers are replaced with opaque tokens while the immutable accounting record is preserved.
Cookies: we use only first-party cookies that are strictly necessary for authentication and preferences. No analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies are set by the platform.
